Yeah, it's a nice picture. But is it Art?

If the camera he took the picture with cost more than the computer he used to put it online, it's art.
Hey, if I used a drugstore-issue disposable camera to take a bunch of pictures of my cats, d'you think I could pass it off as True Art if I said I was making some kind of postmodern Statement?

Michael: I sure as shit wouldn't open a gallery with it.
emilyperson: iPhone 3GS all the way down...
Also, um, probably not. It would largely depend on what you were doing with the cats and how you used the term "postmodern." But, mostly, I think you'd just be taking pictures of cats. Sorry...

Even if I later unveiled the whole thing as a "social experiment" later? Dang. Too bad there's nobody who likes plain old pictures of cats, especially not on the Internet.

Wow, redundant sentence is redundant. Just… mentally remove the later of choice, okay everybody?

Yeah. You're gonna have a tough time selling that whole "pictures of cats" thing to the internet. Good try with the, "But it's art!" dodge, though. You might be able to fake out the French that way.
