It gets better. But the only way it gets better is if we make this world a better place one day at a time.
I'm a writer, historian, and storyteller. I also have a day job.
I wish I had something purple to wear.

Aaand have I mentioned how much I hate the way TypePad handles user accounts?

Purple's only a relatively recent addition to my wardrobe, so don't feel bad.
And I feel the same exact way about TypePad's user accounts. And don't get my started on trying to use my account to comment on Blogger...

I don't think I said I was still plump. I still have a few pounds to go, but it's not altogether obvious when I'm fully dressed, especially since the pants I was wearing yesterday are now a bit too big for me.
Actually, I regularly have people tell me I need to stop. But, again, they're not seeing me shirtless. I have a definite goal in mind that I haven't yet reached, but the problem is that last time I got to where I am now I said, "Okay, I'm done now." Because, yeah, I'm definitely not fat...

I'm where you are, Geds...so I can empathize. Lost 60 pounds or so through a combination of fanatical exercise (200 miles of cycling per week) and better (not perfect, but better) portion control. The cougars (Sexist term, I know, I know) now drape themselves over me at the local "Cheers" which is both good (for the ego, I sadly have to admit) and bad (not really interested in most of them) LOL.
If I wear a black sweater, I look almost skinny. A workout shirt...still definitely twenty+ pounds to go.
So...congrats!
