News You Can Use

So it turns out that this here blog is the number two Google result for the search term "Coldplay sucks." Which probably explains why half of my paltry traffic is based on that exact search. I can't complain about being number two, either, as number one is a Dr. David Thorpe column and I'm ahead of both the Facebook page dedicated to the suckitude of Coldplay and the URL devoted to that idea. I feel like I've made an impact on the world.

It WAS the definitive word on why Coldplay sucks. People could be reading that post for as long as Coldplay is remembered. Which will hopefully be another week or two.

On the Tyranny of Unmet Expectation Online dating sells itself based on one, simple theory: volume. This, again, goes to the Amazon model of dating[1] I mentioned in the last post. But here it shows the potentiality of the model. Your local bookstore can only hold a finite number of titles, while you could theoretically purchase...

And now, for something completely different... So I've been working somewhat diligently to create something called "content" which I can then "post" to this "blog." With any sort of luck (except the bad kind, of course) I'll be putting up a new post every weekday this week. It'll be exactly the sort of broadly eclectic randomness...
