Once again, Scalzi, ladies and gentlemen...
This gives me a really idea. I've had an idea kicking around in the back of my head for something in the neighborhood of 10 years. It started as a novel, but I realized that there wasn't really a plot thread long enough to sustain an entire book. There were, however, a whole lot of small moments that could sustain a collection of, shall we say, episodic short stories that filled out an entire narrative arc.
I seem to recall talking about releasing some stuff as eBooks last spring before I moved back to Chicago and blew all of that instead.
I've even got a two-page treatment of the initial "episode" that I used for a writing assignment floating around on some preserved hard-drive space.
Hmmm...
I've read some of your Right Behind stuff, and I've read some of your fiction here, as well as a bunch of your non-fiction - I know it's good stuff. If you write it (and price it reasonably), I'll buy it, and happily review it. In fact, if you put together something episodic, I'll review each episode individually, like I did with Izzy's Hickey of the Beast. So you'll sell at least 1 copy. My reviews might well sell further ones of copies... (it's not a very big blog, my review blog).
