I've been holding off on doing this for a long time. There's some stuff I have to figure out if I want to move forward in life, but, well, it's difficult. I need to ask some questions with some difficult, perhaps life-changing potential answers. I'll ask these questions in public because I think other people might be asking them, too, and might benefit from a discussion. So I'll start with the basic question and work my way through the logical progression as I see it.
1. What -- if anything -- should I as a White Sox fan be doing to advance social justice in America?
2. Is there anything in the body of work of Charles Comiskey, Bill Veeck, or Jerry Reinsdorf to cause me to think I should even care about social justice?
3. If there is -- which is something I believe -- how should I deal with any White Sox fans who are not currently acting to deal with issues of social justice in America?
4. Assuming there aren't any White Sox fans who are doing the appropriate things to deal with social justice in America should I seek out Cubs fans and work with them, or is the gulf too wide due to our dogmatic disagreements the designated hitter rule and the role of Old Style as a sacramental beer?
5. If I can't work with Cubs fans, is it okay to find common cause with Cardinals and Brewers fans, due to the shared historic animosity all three fanbases share for the Cubs?
6. Can I work with Blackhawks fans, or would moving across sports pollute pure efforts towards social justice from a baseball fan perspective?
7. If I can't figure out an important answer is it okay to fall back on my position as a fan of Babylon 5 to arbitrate?

As a Babylon 5 fan, would you take the Shaddow's position that social justice leads to weakness and begin sowing strife between Cubs fans and White Socks fans, or would you take the Vorlon stance and begin tampering with baseball fan society and genetics to prepare them for the ultimate triumph of your social agenda?

How dare you even think about working with Cardinal fans. :)
A Cardinals hating, Reds lover.
